Especially for shirts / pants, what can you recommend me in terms of brands (regardless of price) with good quality?
I am new here and have just bought an MTB and am curious what your good brands think and which (online) stores you recommend me to take a look around!

Hey Justin, yes as iglo suggested, Endura is great quality and good value for money. I have a couple of Troy Lee designs shirts too, a bit more pricey but good quality.
Look around and you'll generally get last season's clothing on a discount:)
You don't need to be matching on a mountain bike;) people won't ignore you if your a mismatch !

Endura, Alpinestars, Ion, TroyLee, Vaude and everything else that is in Sale.
Making a technical shirt isnt witchcraft nowadays so everything that fits fine and won,t choke you out will do.

A proper in-shorts do matter! For that try to fit a few and find what suits you.
